Polyolefins (PP, PE, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, EVA, PEVA, etc.) are general plastics where PE and PP are considered to be the representatives. Polyolefins exhibit great physical/chemical properties, processability, and pigmentability which are used commonly in automotive parts (bumper, dashboard), industrial fibers, thin films, pipes, sheets, wires/cables, insulation materials, hot melt adhesives, containers, etc. However, polyolefin is an inflammable material.

GY-FRE-670 is microencapsulated red phosphorus masterbatch specially for polyolefin which imparts phenomenal flame retardant performance to polyolefin products, and shows outstanding stability which increases the safety for transport and processing. By using polyolefin resin as its carrier, GY-FRE-670 is wrapped by using encapsulation technology to prevent the red phosphorus from moisture absorption, reduce its activity, improve the compatibility, and remain a high concentration of active flame retardant component. GY-FRE-670 shows excellent thermal stability, electrical performance, mechanical behavior, compatibility, and dispersivity.

Additionally, GY-FRE-670 is easy to use and incorporation while it can directly compound with plastic pellets and will not cause dust formation or migration during processing.
